Royal Vista offers the most dedicated and skilled Loveland veterinary regenerative medicine in the community. We’re passionate about providing your pets with treatment solutions beyond surgery or other invasive procedures when possible.
Since the start of Royal Vista, we have wanted our veterinary office to be a place where experience and groundbreaking animal medicine come together. Regenerative medicine is revolutionizing the way that veterinarians are practicing innovative, non-surgical medical options for animals. Along with acupuncture, chiropractic, and cold laser therapy, we offer two advanced, cutting-edge regenerative therapeutic options: bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cell therapy and platelet-rich plasma therapy. Both of these methods are effective for treating suffering from arthritis, tendon and ligament injuries, muscle strains and tears, and many spinal diseases.
Platelet-rich Plasma Therapy
Platelet-rich plasma therapy uses a whole blood sample, where platelets are first concentrated and activated to set in motion the release of growth factors that improve the healing capacity of damaged and diseased tissue. With mesenchymal stem cell therapy (using a bone marrow therapy), veterinarians can isolate and culture stem cells at a local stem cell laboratory in the Front Range. Here, these stem cell numbers are increased exponentially. Then these millions of undifferentiated cells are injected into the injury site, where they immediately transform into repair cells that the body needs for natural healing.
Our staff always conducts comprehensive musculoskeletal evaluations, including a lameness assessment, to address body symmetry, joint articulation and stability, and neuromuscular function. Then we determine if regenerative medicine is a good option to solve the problem. As with all treatments and diagnoses at Royal Vista, the pet parent is involved every step of the way.
Creating a supportive, informative atmosphere for our patients is a top priority at our veterinary clinic. Bedside manner is just as important to us as our advanced treatments and emergency vet care.
